PRE-RECORDED PRESENTATIONS AT SHOWFLOOR STAGES

SEMI encourages professionals from its members and external organizations to actively participate at SEMICON EUROPA 2026 by submitting their interest for a digital pre-recorded presentation under the general theme of the expo “Europe's Next Era: Navigating the Perfect Storm”.

Pre-recorded presentations:

In addition to the in-person programs happening throughout the week, SEMI would like to highlight innovations in the space of microelectronics and semiconductors through shorter, pre-recorded messages, pitches, and product announcements that will be played at the SEMICON Europa main stage on the last day of the exhibition.

All pre-recorded presentations will also be made available to all SEMICON Europa attendees through the SEMICON Europa website and will be promoted post-event.

We are particularly interested in projects for:

  • Actively encouraging diversity and inclusion in the workplace
  • Sustainability and circularity strategies as well as green technologies to be used in the semiconductor industry
  • Semiconductor contributions to a sustainable future
  • Advancements of semiconductors in aerospace, defense and automotive applications
  • Enabling smart manufacturing and new processes for fab automation
  • The role of the semiconductor industry in enabling the adoption of new technology and addressing bottlenecks in new technology adoption
  • Technology readiness vs. deployment
  • Advancements in materials of all types – gases, chemicals, substrates, masks, coatings, encapsulants, adhesives, etc. – as an essential part of the fabrication of semiconductor devices
  • Power electronics and devices for broad applications
  • Smart manufacturing – hardware and software solutions
  • Cybersecurity strategies and tools for creating trusted electronics
  • Addressing bottlenecks in supply chain management of semiconductors with smart solutions like chip traceability
  • Green solutions for facility management and capital projects, including abatement and recycling.

General guidelines:

  • The deadline has expired, and submissions will no longer be accepted. We thank all authors who have submitted their abstracts.
  • The expo language is English.
  • Selected presenters will be notified by September 2026.

Your presentation may not be included in the review process unless the information is complete. Evaluation criteria include significance, usefulness for the semiconductor world, and clarity and accuracy as a paper. Abstracts will be peer-reviewed and selected relative to the points above. We encourage application-related presentations, i.e., on joint projects between users and suppliers. Papers are to be non-commercial and focus on the technical/economical merits of a process rather than the individual company’s product benefits.

For accepted abstracts:

Presenters of accepted abstracts will receive:

  • Complementary ticket to attend SEMICON Europa 2026
  • Maximum 15-minute slot for their pre-recorded presentation to be played at the SEMICON Europa stage on Friday
  • Pre-recorded to be hosted at the SEMICON Europa website and distributed to all SEMICON attendees post-event
  • Pre-recorded credits at the SEMICON Europa Website
  • Submission of video deadline for the accepted pre-recorded presentations: October 25, 2026
