28th Fab Management Forum (FMF)
Industry Meets Innovative Ideas
Call for Abstracts for Industry meets Innovative Ideas Session:
You are now invited to submit your abstract for the 2024 Fab Management Forum:
The Session “Industry meets Innovative Ideas” will give the opportunity to entrepreneurs, start-up companies, graduates and newcomers to present their research and early-stage products to fab managers. With this session, we want to bring to the spotlight new talent interested in our industry and provide them with insights for a successful career launch in the semiconductor industry.
We want to hear from:
Young Engineers that started their career in the semiconductor industry
Early start-ups spinoffs
Ph.D. and MSc students and their professors
Postgraduate researchers
Researchers working in academic and research institutes
Professors working on new concepts
Topics of interest:
- Advancing Smart Manufacturing Solutions - Explore the dynamic shift towards smarter, more efficient operations, with AI-driven tools eliminating the need for manual inspections and optimizing scheduling through pattern recognition and reinforcement learning
- Europe's Environmental Transition: Stability to Sustainability - In pursuit of environmental sustainability the importance of renewable energy adoption, PFAS concerns, enhancing electrical grid stability strategies for risk mitigation and water recycling that becomes critical for the semiconductor industry.
- Next-Gen Core Technologies for Future Fabs - Optimization of multiple technologies with SiC, Future of Photonics and Quantum computing in order to facilitate and support the future industry growth.
We are particularly interested in solutions for:
- Equipment Control
- Substitute controllers
- Modified tools / Tool Upgrades
- Automation solutions
- Sensor solutions
