Call for abstracts for Industry meets Innovative Ideas 

You are now invited to submit your abstract for the 2025 MEMS and Imaging Sensors Summit:

The Session “Industry meets Innovative Ideas” will give the opportunity to entrepreneurs, start-up companies, graduates and newcomers to present their research and early-stage products to the MEMS and Imaging Sensors audience. Opportunity to present to the industry and network. With this session, we want to bring to the spotlight new talent interested in our industry and inspire the industry. 

 

We want to hear from:

  • Start-ups or/and spinoffs
  • Ph.D. and MSc students and their professors
  • Postgraduate researchers
  • Researchers working in academic and research institutes
  • Professors working on new concepts
  • Companies that offer services that support start-ups 

 

We are particularly interested in solutions for (but not limited to): 

  • The following trends from European companies: AI & sensors, European sovereignty in the sensor industry, eco-innovation
  • MEMS & Imaging sensor technology & application advancements  

 

Topics of interest:

  • MEMS - Technologies and Device Manufacturing
    • New MEMS applications and use cases
    • Technological advancements and advancements in materials for MEMS sensors
    • AI in MEMS sensors / Smart MEMS sensors
    • MEMS + photonics co-integration
    • Foundry offers focused on start-ups
  • Imaging - Technologies and Device Manufacturing
    • New imaging sensor applications and use cases
    • Technological advancements and advancements in materials for imaging sensors
    • New/alternative imaging sensor architectures
    • Foundry offers focused on start-ups 


How to participate:

  • Please submit your abstract, biography through our link selecting MEMS and Imaging.
  • Select your solution / method to showcase how your solution / method impacts semiconductors fab manufacturing and organizations.
  • The submission deadline is Wednesday, July 9, 2025 (midnight, CEST) 
    Selected authors will be notified in August 2025. 
  • Each finalist has 3- 5 minutes to present their product on stage, followed by a networking poster session.
  • Talents (e.g entrepreneurs, start-up companies ,students, postgraduate researchers, researchers) should do the oral presentation on stage.

  2. In the Attributes select Presentation: Paper submission (including abstract)
  3. Select the Paper submission (including abstract) and choose desired Topic:
    • MEMS and Imaging Sensors Summit
  4. Use the SEMICON Europa Speaker Registration Guide to help and guide you 

Please note that only the correct abstracts submission will be considered 

 

Selected presenters will receive: 

  • One complimentary pass to the MEMS and Imaging Sensors Summit and SEMICON Europa 2025
  • For students, an additional pass will be given to their professor
  • 5 minutes presentation slot to pitch the audience
  • Space for your poster to be displayed at the exhibition area of the Forum and take advantage of onsite networking with senior professionals. Guidelines for the poster will be given to selected presenters. Add high table top to display product.
