This Expert Panel aims to foster discussions about the future trends in the characterisation for nano-electronics with respect to the main needs and expectations from industry.

Moreover, the services proposed by the Nanoelec Advanced Characterisation Platform (NACP) will be presented and discussed. Lunch will be provided.

The NACP Service Platform was created to provide state-of-the-art characterisation services for the nano-electronics industry, with the objective to combine the powers of synchrotron X-rays and neutrons with the established nano-characterisation capabilities. The Platform is a partnership between the European Synchrotron (ESRF), the Institut Laue-Langevin neutron facility and the CEA Nano-Characterisation Platform (PFNC).
