The Executive Summit, now in its 7th edition, attracts 200 top-executives and takes place on the first day of SEMICON Europa. It is followed by the European SEMI Award presentation and a networking reception. Industry leaders debate high-level perspectives on priorities and opportunities for European companies in the semiconductor supply chain.

In May 2013, European Commission Vice-President Neelie Kroes set an ambitious target for the European micro- and Nano electronics manufacturing industry namely to gain 20% of the world chip production market by 2020, with €10 billion invested by the EU and €100 billion invested by the industry (EU 10/100/20). The panel will debate this ambitious vision. What roadblocks need to be overcome to achieve Kroes’s ambitious goals?  What are the areas of growth? What alliances/collaborative work is needed? What kind of investments do we need?
